"This collection opens with a review of the plant sources, extraction methods, physicochemical characterization and commercial applications of edible and non-edible vegetable oils. The authors describe the extraction of essential oil through ultrasound to increase the productivity of favorable essential oils. The operation of ultrasound-assisted extraction along is also described. In one study, the antimicrobial activity of the essential oil derived from Campomanesia aurea O.
